Information we collect

We collect information in four ways:

• Business listing submissions. When you submit a business through "List Your Business," we collect the business name, contact name, email, phone number, website, Google Business Profile link, optional social profiles, description, city, zip code, areas served, and categories offered.
• Claim and edit requests. When you claim an existing listing or submit edits, we collect your name, email, phone number and Google Business Profile link, used to verify you are authorized to manage that listing.
• Publicly available business information. Many listings were compiled from publicly available sources (business websites and public directories) rather than submitted by the business. Unclaimed listings are marked as such. If you are a business owner and want a listing corrected, updated, or removed, claim it or contact us.
• Anonymous usage events. We record vendor page views, searches (the keyword, city and category entered, and how many results were returned), and taps on a vendor's phone number. These events are stored without your name, email or account, and are used to understand what couples look for and to show vendors how their listing performs.

What we don't do

We don't sell personal information. Couples do not create accounts or fill in lead forms here: you contact vendors directly through their own phone, email or website. The only feature that reads your device's location is the "vendors near you" banner, which asks your browser for your approximate location. It is used once, in your browser, to suggest a nearby city, and is never sent to or stored on our servers.

Cookies and analytics

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies and browser storage items, for example to keep an administrator signed in or to remember that you dismissed a banner. Vendor profiles that show Instagram posts load Instagram’s embed script, which is run by Meta and may set its own cookies and collect information about your visit. If we have configured Google Tag Manager, it may load analytics tags that help us understand how visitors use the site. These tools may set cookies and collect information such as your IP address, browser, device and pages visited. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

How we use information

Submitted business and claim information is used to review, publish and maintain listings, and to contact you about your submission. A copy of what you submit may be emailed to our support inbox so our team can review it. We don't share it with third parties except the service providers that host our database, email delivery and application infrastructure, who process it only on our behalf.

Third-party content

Photos on this site are sourced from Wikimedia Commons under Creative Commons or public domain licenses and credited on the photo credits page. Links to vendor websites, social profiles and Google Maps take you to third-party sites with their own privacy practices, which we don't control.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct, update or remove information about your business, or delete a claim or signup submission, at any time by contacting us. Business owners can also claim their listing directly to take control of its content.
